About the Author

Hi, I’m John Brown—also known as Papa J! I’m a proud dad, grandpa, and lifelong storyteller who believes in the power of love, laughter, and faith to strengthen families. After years in the business world, I felt called to use my gifts to create joyful, meaningful stories for kids and the grown-ups who love them.

My books are rooted in timeless lessons, Christian values, and playful rhymes that spark imagination, teach empathy, and open up heart-to-heart conversations. Each story is written with care to help children feel seen, valued, and inspired.

I also host Papa’s Storytime on YouTube, where I read my books aloud and invite families to unplug, snuggle up, and share precious moments together—just like I do with my own grandkids. Whether on the page or on screen, my mission is simple: to spread light, faith, and family connection—one story at a time.
